Got some games up, a few new vids to.

Me and others have decided to make a game.

How many times has this been decided before?
i lost track.

Why will this time work?

Because, we have the engine working .
We have the makings of a top notch script (not coding, movie script or what ever its called), a fairly decent engine that im getting the hang of how to use, and al the other things needed.

So, finished making a first test of the engine, its not bad i must say heh.

Now before I go any further, we need to understand the complex plan that England are putting into play, some general rules they should follow are;

1. Every player on the team needs to of touched the ball at least twice before you are aloud to shoot, even if this means passing up an opertunity for an easy goal.

2. Rooney is actualy sent from the gods and somewhere it is written in the bible that England shout not win thy cup unless the new and improved jesus is playing.

3. If we need goals, take all the strikers off.

4. The goalkeeper isnt actualy there to save goals, thats the job of the defence.

5. Changing the way you attack is not aloud. You must run down the bottom half of the pitch and cross it in. Every time. EVERY time.

6. Believe it or not, David Beckham can actualy take corners. The fact that he hasnt scored from one of them in 3 years, and that almost every single on of them is shit is beside the point, it is written in the bible (around the Rooney statement) that David will take, and fuck up, every single corner, free kick, and generaly any other important chance in the game.

7. Links in with 6, David needs at least a few million a week, otherwise hischildren WILL starve.

8. The first half, the entire team needs to play well. The second half the entire team needs to try to imitate Togo. The more like Togo they play, (i.e the worse they play), the better.

9. Links in with 4, the goalkeeper can also be replaced by the crossbar.

10. If there is any chance whatsoever that England can give away a corner, it needs to be acted upon. If the opposition are in our half and havnt got a corner, then the gods will smite Rooneys foot and the world will be forced into 1,000 years of darkness.

Now that we’ve got those straight, we need to face up to the reality of the matter;

England, are, shit.

Well its been a while since the last post here, and there is actualy a good reason for that. For once

Basicly we did this terms GCSE exams a few weeks ago, hopefuly they went alright :S
So now all the teachers thought it would be a rocking idea if they gave us shit loads of coursework to do. Bastards

So yea, thats been taking up a nice chunk of time

Also I had Work Experience last week (10th-14th), i headed off to Pivotal Games, Google it, im far to lazy to explain.
Learnt loads about Max, among other things and generaly had a good time

but, after spending 9 hours a day in front on Max, the last thing i wanted to do was come home and model some more, hence the lack of updates.
Oh, and i managed to forget to bring home renders of anthing id done, so thats succesfuly lost ^-^

And what with Friends and general life taking more time, Phrost has all but been forgoten

So, yesterday i was bored and asked someone for something to model, they said a Ps2 Controller.
So;

I havnt got the hang of smoothing in Max yet, so i left it rough. You can see a bigger version in the portfolio

School ends in

So then after the hoooj thing thats supposed to be happening tuesday night, well a few days after that , Phrost should be updated a lot more

I recently applied to Google Adsense, after using it before and discovering how great it was.

Now, before i go on, i would just like to bring up a bit of history here.

I used adsense probably pushing maybe 13 - 14 months ago, on Phrost V1, thats right, the very first phrost
Any way, i got a mail from some some ass (hence forth known as dick) saying he was going to get me banned from old google. He then preceeded to click the ads repeatedly, getting me banned.

The mail i got delivering this crushing blow said that if i had any evidence to prove it wasnt me, then they would rethink the ban, or roughly those words any way.
So, i sent them a nice email saying what had happened, i even put in a copy of the mail dick sent me, waited roughly 3 weeks only to get a mail that basicly said

Your banned, get our code the fuck off your site

And that was that.

14 months later, phrost has changed a fair bit, im guessing dick lost interest and pissed off to ruin someone elses site.
So, i re-applied.

Now ill admit i was a tad hopefull, there are plenty of stories over how harsh Google are, but meh, i had hope

Again, waited a few weeks only to this time get a mail saying:

Your application has been denied

Followed by a load of shit saying how big google were getting.

Thats it, no “its been denied because…”, no “thanks for trying but…” no nothing.
Now im guessing that it was because 14 MONTHS AGO the old Phrost got banned, but it could be anything, even something that i could simply of changed, making every one happy.

but nope, not google.

I would just like to set a few things straight here, I havnt been lazing around the house, enjoying the sun, summer hols and general relaxation.

Far from it.

I have been working on getting Phrost’s forums up and running, a job that sounds oh so simple, but is anything but simple.

After a few hours of not even getting the dam thing working, i finally got her working. I’d missed a ‘o’ off the database user name…..
So any way, with that done i started looking through the templates for something i could use. I think there are roughly 500 or so. Thats a lot of looking.
After finaly choosing one, i started the painstakingly long proccess of “modding” it, in simple terms changing all the graphics to suit my needs.

Hit a few snaggs here to, but after a few quick posts on the forums, all was well.

And then i started on the mods.

“mods”, coincodence that it has the same number of letters as “Deth”, i think not.

After all my work, all my hard work, i installed a mod that went around and changed the code in more than enough files, only to find it didnt work.

Joy.

So, im basicly back to square one, i need to re-instal the forums, luckily i think i can keep my work on the Style, but we shall see…

On a lighter note, I went to Ashton Court Festivle with friends, it was awsome. Scrub and Blackbud were great and Go! Team rocked, highlight of the day. A good day

Also, i’ve convinced the parents to let me get Chickens, thats right, chickens. So ive spent a good few hours today looking up how to care for them, what breeds to get, how to build chicken coops etc.
Ill keep you all posted on how it goes

Because I just dont get the time/have the motivation to keep updating it with new content. Sure i could keep posting here, but whats the point? People dont want to read some random blog.

Will Shaw has got his hair cut. Yes i know, hard to believe but it has happened.
So shocked were we that we decided that I should make a flash animation about it. After maybe an hours work in flash and 30 mins in photoshop, im quite pleased with the results.

On another note, My first batch of cider is coming along nicely, 2 months brewing made it very dry and ive had to sweeten it a fair bit to get it with even a hint of apple.
Its now sat in a 2l bottle carbonating nicely.

Team Sally’s Apple Cider, or Team Sally’s Scrumpy.
I’ve been told the first doesnt have a great “ring” to it, so its probs going to be the second.

So i got sent THIS link the other day, and was pretty shocked.

I mean seriosly, she’s a 14 year old girl that put a picture of Bush on her myspace, no biggie says the FBI.
Whoaw shit! she’s written “KIIL BUSH!” on it in paint! Get someone down there now!

I read up a few different stories on this, just because i was actualy interested in the new for once .
They pulled her out of lessons and reduced her to tears, without any parental concent.
isn’t that illegal?

You have to wonder why they couldnt have done this her parents, the FOURTEEN YEAR OLDS parents present. And why in school, after being threatened with prison, she then had to fuck off back to lessons and continue listening to mr smiths lecture on how boring rocks are.

What really makes me wonder is that have they actualy got some guy that crawls the internet looking for some shit?
Is that actualy a paid job in the US?
I mean, lets look at how a convo would go:
EMPLOYER: Hi, so tell me, what have you done for the last few years?
PRO BUSH PIC FINDER: well i uh..i spent my life on the internet, looking for plots against the US…
EMPLOYER: Wow, that sounds pretty exciting! did you ever find any?
PRO BUSH PIC FINDER: Well when i say “plots”, what i mean is shitty little pictures that a 14 year old girl made when she was bored one day.
EMPLOYER: ……..right…
